1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of payment services provided by Listed powered by Locally Listed LLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”), including rent and moving-related payments made via credit card or Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) platforms such as Afterpay. By using our services, you agree to all terms outlined below.
2. Service Overview
We offer two payment options to eligible users:
- Credit Card Payments: Pay rent, down payments, or moving-related costs directly to licensed property owners or registered businesses using your credit card.
- BNPL Installments (e.g., Afterpay): Split your rent into four equal installments through approved third-party platforms, subject to their terms and approval process.
All services are for convenience only and do not replace legal rental agreements between tenants and landlords.
3. Processing Fees
- Credit Card Transactions:
- Under $2,000: 10% processing fee
- $2,000 and above: 12% processing fee
- BNPL Transactions (e.g., Afterpay):
- Under $2,000: 12% service fee
- $2,000 and above (non-Afterpay BNPL or credit): 12.5% service fee
All fees are non-refundable and apply per transaction.
4. Payment Terms & Timing
- Full payment (including fees) must be submitted upfront.
- Credit card payments are processed in 2–3 business days.
- BNPL payments may take 3–5 business days.
- Renters are responsible for scheduling payments in advance to avoid late rent.
5. Eligibility & Property Validation
Use of the service is subject to:
- Property verification by Locally Listed LLC
- Approval from the respective BNPL platform (if applicable)
- Exclusion of unverified or privately managed properties not affiliated with licensed property managers
We reserve the right to deny service for any property that does not meet our internal validation standards.
6. Refund & Cancellation Policy
- No refunds are issued once funds have been processed and received by the property owner or business.
- Refunds may be considered only if the transaction has not been fully completed, and are subject to a 6% refund processing fee.
- Cleaning service deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled 24 hours in advance.
7. Payment Restrictions
- Payments must go directly to a licensed and registered business or property owner.
- Funds or services obtained via Locally Listed LLC cannot be transferred for cash or resold.
- This service is not a loan or credit facility provided by Locally Listed LLC.
8. No Financial or Real Estate Representation
Locally Listed LLC is:
- Not a bank, lender, credit provider, escrow agent, or financial institution
- Not a real estate broker, agent, or property manager
We do not:
- Draft or enforce leases
- Represent any party in real estate transactions
- Hold or disburse funds as a fiduciary
All rental agreements are strictly between the tenant and landlord/property manager.
9. Security & Liability
- All payments are processed via secure, encrypted platforms.
- Users are responsible for entering accurate payment details.
- Locally Listed LLC is not liable for:
- Lease violations
- Late payments
- Platform errors or third-party decisions (e.g., Afterpay denials)
- Any disputes between tenants and property owners
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify or discontinue our services or these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the service constitutes your acceptance of any updated terms.
11. Disclaimer
- Participation in this service does not alter any lease terms or payment obligations.
- Use of BNPL services is governed by the provider’s separate policies and may include interest, late fees, or penalties.
- Processing timelines are estimates. Renters remain fully responsible for ensuring rent is paid on time and in full.
